Re: Starbucks cafe
Leila went to the bar and ordered a frothy hot chocolate, before sitting down at a table with a sofa and sighing. Completely bored, she watched the people around her moving. There was a happy couple at a table nearby with their children, sharing a quick kiss before drinking cffee with their kids. She looked to the bar where she had just come from, with its neon light shining down from the ceiling, bathing all who sat on the high bar chairs with a cool blue light. Leila felt at home in the cafe, as she did with all the places in the shopping centre, as it was her favourite, cheerful place, but today, she felt bored.
She looked up suddenly as a boy entered. Looking around two years older than her, he had spikey blonde hair and beautiful dar blue pool-like eyes. He wore a white shirt with a cream jacket and jeans. She went slightly red as he caught her eye on the way to the bar. At the bar, she observed him order a hot chocolate, as she herself had done moments before, complete with the same cream and marshmallow topping. Her heart skipped a beat as the boy made his way to her table. She felt strangely small in comparison to him, as cute as this guy was, he also had some kind of cool air about him. He sat down on the sofa next to her.
"Do you mind if I sit here? All the other vacant tables are near really noisy people, and you're on your own anyways." he said, in a smooth tone that made Leila's heart beat a little faster.
"Oh, sure," she replied, quickly regaining composure. I don't need to act all girly and embarrassed just because I'm sitting next to a nice looking guy. she told herself firmly, managing to stop herself from blushing or stuttering like a klutz. She met his eyes steadily this time, and he looked back into hers with surprise. It was as if he had expected an embarrassed reply or reaction, and he seemed to hold an almost respect in his eyes of her for not doing so.
"I'm Leila, Leila Mint," Leila continued, feeling slightly more at ease after the ice was broken. "What's your name?"
"Me? Um... I'm... R..." the boy stopped in a surprising pause. "R... Raze." he finished, the look in his eyes showing not embarrassment, but a strange sense of anxiety, as if he had forgotten his own name for a few seconds. He seemed relieved to have finished talking. He put on a small yet genuine smile of which Leila took an instant liking to.
"Nice to meetcha!" Leila nodded, before sipping her hot chocolate. "So why are you here? I usually come here when I have too much spare time."
"Like boredom?" Raze's eyes sparkled with amuzement.
Leila paused before smiling. "Pretty much, yeah. Right now, I'm really bored as my friends won't let me help them with what they're doing."
Raze looked down at his hot chocolate, before starting to drink it. After a few seconds, he spoke again. "I'm here bcause I'm tired and I need to unwind, pretty much." he sighed, before looking at Leila again. The two looked at eachother for what must have been a few minutes, a smile playing on their faces.

Re: Starbucks cafe
Estelle walked in, head bowed, she smiled in Leila, ignoring the boy and ordered a coffee and sat down by herself looking out of the window, she had left HQ pretty much as soon as she entered not wanting to be there when the KYEL members were bought in.

Re: Starbucks cafe
Kyra was cold. Pushing her way into the cafe, he took a seat as far away from the door as possible. Reminding herslf she had only just left McDonalds in Picadilly, Kyra turned down ordering anything, and resorted to looking around at the people in the cafe.
Re: Starbucks cafe
Leila looked up and waved to Estelle, and the boy also looked to the person she was waving to and smiled.
"Estelle, hello!" Leila called, before turning back to Raze. Raze began talking to her again, this time about the TV shop downstairs, and to Estelle, his voice may have seemed startlingly yet unplaceably familiar. Leila chatted back airily about how much she loved TVs and iPods and how much she wanted a 14 inch plasma screen TV and a gold plated iphone for christmas and moaning about how she would never get one.
Raze made a surprising remark.
"It must be so nice to be able to worry about what you're going to get for christmas... It seems to carefree and happy... not dark and sinister."
Leila looked at him curiously, and he looked startled. "L...like in the movies," he added, hastily.
Leila nodded to him. "No, no, I know what you mean." she replied, wrapped up instantly in thoughs about the Executives, and the 'work' that they did, facing KYEL and having to carry the burden of murder sometimes. They looked at eachother, both with strange recognition of what the other was thinking, yet not at all guessing the scenario.

Re: Starbucks cafe
Kyra noticed some stranges faces in the cafe. And some she reconised. She decided to turn away from those faces and stood up, making her way towards the door before...
...her foot caught on the side of her chair, and she crashed down against the floor.

Re: Starbucks cafe
Raze was there at once, crouching over her, eyes showing his concern.
"Are you ok?" he asked her, quickly followed by Leila, who asked her the same question.
"Ooh, it's Kyra!" Leila enthused, her familiar face beaming at Kyra's crumpled position on the floor. The boy's face looked hauntingly familiar too, though he acted as if he had never met her.

Re: Starbucks cafe
Kyra found herself overwelmed.
"Yeah I'm fine, just clumsy" She mumbled, looking up a Leila and Raze. They were part of the farmiliar faces, "Clumsy as per usual. Clumsy. Always clumsy" She trailed off, looking up at the two people who had seen her stumble.

Re: Starbucks cafe
Raze seemed to act completely as if he didn't know her, despite how familiar his face looked. It seemed uncertain whether he was someone who knew Kyra or not. Leila pulled her up by her arm.
"Here you go!" she chirped, before pointing at Raze. "This is my new friend Raze!" she nodded violently, and Raze smiled at her enthusiasm.
"It's nice to meet you," he said, his deep blue eyes fixed hauntingly on her.

Re: Starbucks cafe
Raze stood very suddenly.
"I'm very sorry," he apologised to Leila. "I have to go now. I'm here most nights, so hopefully we'll meet again," he smiled at her and she smiled back, their eyes holding a feeling that might have been interpreted as something slightly more than friendship.
"Hopefully," Leila replied, before waving as Raze left the cafe and was soon out of sight in the crowd.

Re: Starbucks cafe
"Um...right" Kyra blinked slowly. She turned in a full circle, looking around at the cafe again.
"I forgot where I was going" She said slowly, "Damn" A look of thoughtfulness crossed her face.
"Oh wait, I wasn't going anywhere..."

Re: Starbucks cafe
Now without Raze to talk to, Leila went to Kyra.
"Let's chat, like normal people with something to do do in cafes!" she suggested, her sentance tumbling over itself as tiredness began taking over her body.

Re: Starbucks cafe
"Alright then, I'm not going anywhere" Kyra smiled weakly, looking around again before she decided to pull up a chair from the table she had tripped herself up on and sat down on it slowly.
Re: Starbucks cafe
Leila also chose a chair from the same table and pulled it as close to Kyra's as manageable. She began nattering on about televisions as she had done to Raze a few moments earlier. After a few minutes, she started speaking a lot slower, and she continued to get slower until eventually she stopped altogether. Leila's head came down to rest on Kyra's arm. She was fast asleep already.
Re: Starbucks cafe
Kyra smiled softly and half sighed to herself. She began to think about what Leila had said, and wondered to herself what she would watch next time she had to option to watch something on TV.
Re: Starbucks cafe
Estelle smiled at Leila and decided to leave, she departed quietly from the shop hoping not to be noticed (Sorry not much to say)
